Union Home Minister dedicates and lays foundation stone of various developmental works of Rs. 800 crores of AMC and AUDA in presence of Gujarat CM
Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah today dedicated and laid foundation stone of various developmental works of Rs. 800 crores of Ahmedabad Municila Corporation and Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani. Mr. Shah added that the developmental works taken on hands in last five years under the visionary leadership of our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi are remarkable. The developmental works have been accelerated throughout the state.

Union Home Minister congratulated the municipal corporation to provide home to 4439 families and to make the festival of Diwali more bright for them. Our Prime Minister has made a dream to fulfill basic needs and to provide housing to all before we celebrate 75th year of independence. 3 crore people have been provided with proper housing not only that our Government has also provided facilities like electricity, sanitation, gas connections etc. we are now on a path to provide tap water to every house.

Our Prime Minster Mr. Narendra Modi has implemented various schemes for the upliftment of poor families. 60 crores families have been provided gas connections and 10 crore families have been provided with proper sanitation facilities. Under the visionary leadership of our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi we have broken record of development in various sectors including Urban Development, Rural Development, Infrastructure, airports and ports, since 2014. Which is a matter of pride for the people of nation.

Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani on the occasion said that today, the cities of Gujarat are being counted in the modern cities of the world. The most growing cities in the world include our major cities. We are working keeping in mind various factors like of city heritage, traffic problems in the city, environment etc. AUDA and AMC also take care of proper roads, lights and water facilities. Government is developing keeping in mind every single thing.

It is the Government's priority to provide low-cost housing to the poor and middle-class citizens through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and to meet the needs of the poor and middle class citizens. Interest subsidy is provided under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and various builders have also been inspired by the government to construct low-cost housing. He highlighted the dream of Prime Minister to provide housing to all by 2022. More than 200 TP Schemes have been approved in two years. Mr. Rupani greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Diwali on behalf of State Government.
